Regular price $5.00 Sale

In March 2021, the Good Lovelies performed their first, eponymous record, “Good Lovelies” at the Canterbury Music Company in Toronto, where the album was originally recorded. This album was released on January 21, 2009 and won a Juno Award in 2010 for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year.

Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Susan Passmore, along with long time collaborator Christine Bougie, reminisce and revisit that time, in song and stories. "We have always had fun together, but these songs have brought us back to our beginnings; to quitting our jobs, to practicing endlessly in Kerri’s basement, to accidentally playing a strip club, to travelling across Canada and back again (and back...again), to our MASH t-shirt confusion, to that time Sue went back to her room in Nanton AB only to find a strange man sleeping in her bed... We are playing instruments we haven’t played in a long time, laughing, whistling and two stepping along. It's pure joy."

This rental will be available to watch for 48 hours after purchase.
